Cheer leading classes feature fun and safety as students build skills preparing them for school tryouts! Students learn cheers, chants, jumps, pom-dance routines and age-appropriate stunts. Registration is on-site at the Library Recreation Annex on the first day of class, Tuesday, January 30. Classes available to boys and girls age 4-15. Instructor: ActivStars
Sprouting Melodies - Family Sprouts
All young children can learn and grow through music. Family Sprouts gathers kids and families together and provides opportunities for children of different ages to learn and interact together. Instructor: Christine Heaps
8*Count Dance is proud to bring quality dance training to Queen Creek! Classes are available for boys and girls of all ages in ballet, tap, jazz, acrobatics, and new this season: klogging. Parent-tot classes are available for our preschool aged students. Dancers have two performance opportunities: Holiday Performance n' Picnic in December and the Recital in June. Advanced dancers are encouraged to participate in Ruby Dance Company for additional performance and competition opportunities (contact 8*Count Dance for more information).
Adult/Teen Tap (14+ yrs)
Tap is back! In this fun, high-energy class, students learn basic to intermediate rhythmic tap steps and get a great workout! All experience levels welcome. Tap shoes recommended. Instructor: 8*Count Dance
Come learn the beautiful, traditional folklore dance of Mexico. Students will learn primary to advanced steps/technique in relation to different regions of Mexico. Movements are repetitive to ensure proper placement before advancement. Instructor: Gloria Wells
Learn basic to intermediate piano skills in this fun and inviting class. Classes are available for both youth and adults. Instructor: Julie Briggs
