There have been some changes to our Sports and Martial Arts classes. Please see below for the most up to date information.


ActivStars Karate    4-15 yrs
A unique curriculum is taught by certified black belt instructors in an exciting format for youth!  
Self-defense and safety awareness include release techniques, abduction prevention, respect, 
and discipline. Instructor: ActivStars

ActivStars Winter
Amazing Athletes PreK Sports & Fitness  2-6 yrs 

Action packed class gives your child an introduction to nine different sports (soccer, basketball, football, volleyball, golf, tennis, hockey, lacrosse, and baseball), as well as fun exercises and challenging obstacle courses, to enhance your child's gross motor development.
By popular demand, we have included an additional Amazing Athletes class for the summer!

Combat Hapkido - Self Defense  13+ yrs 
Combat Hapkido is an extremely realistic and versatile discipline of self protection that includes an extensive variety of joint locks, strikes, kicks, pressure points, ground survival and weapon disarming techniques. It is NOT “play” Karate, nor sport driven. It is enjoyable to learn and truly effective in realistic situations. It is well suited for men and women of all ages and sizes because physical strength and athletic abilities are not essential. Instructor: Master David Rivas 
Soccer Shots  2-5 yrs 
Soccer shots is a program offered to children 2-5 that meets once a week at daycare centers, schools and parks throughout the city to introduce your child to soccer! Our soccer shots instructors are energetic and enthusiastic, are great teachers, and love working with children. We not only teach soccer skills, but also work on improving balance, coordination, and agility with the kids. Soccer Shots also uses the sessions to teach children important concepts such as teamwork, sharing and respect. Come join the fastest growing youth soccer program today! Instructor: Stuart Lyall 
Lim Karate  3+ yrs 
Through learning this sport facet and traditional karate from Hawaii, students will greatly benefit through respect, discipline, physical fitness, and self-confidence, acquire sportsmanship and learn to become "coachable" whether they are interested in competing or not. Classes are split by age starting at 3 years old. Instructor: Lim Karate
Taekwondo Olympic Style - Seniors/Adults  18+ yrs 
Receive benefits of body conditioning through stretching, breathing, meditation and movement of body through martial art forms. Exercise techniques improve mobility, confidence and techniques of self-defense. Taught by a Senior and Master Instructor. Instructor: Henry W. Jenkins 
Taekwondo Olympic Style - Beginner - Intermediate  Family 
Students will learn the Korean martial art of Taekwondo, as practiced for the Olympics. Taekwondo known for its dynamic and powerful kicks, also teaches self-confidence while building and developing self-esteem. Classes include physical and mental exercises. Progress is measured through the practice of self-defense, form (similar to Katas), sparring and power board breaking. Students will learn how to use motions for running, jumping, kicking, punching and striking. Instructor: Henry W. Jenkins 
Taekwondo Olympic Style - Advanced  Family 
Advance training classes focus on physical conditioning, sparring, self-defense and advanced forms. Classes will simulate Taekwondo competition tournaments. Students should have six months or equivalent martial arts experience, complete sparring gear and uniform. Instructor: Henry W. Jenkins

Refund Policy
  • Refunds will be given to cancellations received before the end of the registration period. Please expect 4-6 weeks to receive your refund.
  • Failure to attend a program or 'no shows' will not be granted a refund.
  • Requests for refunds must be given in writing.
  • All Convenience Fees paid for online transactions are non-refundable.
