Save the date for this unique annual event! Trunk or Treat provides a safe environment for families to enjoy an inexpensive evening of Halloween fun in a festival atmosphere! Children trick-or-treat by going from car trunk to car trunk on “Trunk or Treat Street” to get their bag filled with goodies. Individuals or groups sign up to host and decorate a trunk, and the Town provides all the candy to be given out at the event.

Ghouls, goblins and ghosts of all ages will enjoy a festival of activities. So come out and join us for some ghoulish games, frightening food and freaky fun.

Candy Drive

We need you! Thousands of pieces of candy are distributed on Trunk or Treat Street each year. In order to keep up with the growing demand of trick-or-treaters, the Recreation Division is holding a candy drive from Sept. 21 - Oct. 16.

Starting Monday, Sept. 21, donate a bag of candy at the Recreation Annex (21802 S. Ellsworth Road) for your chance to win one of five "Grand Prize" Trunk or Treat VIP Experiences! The VIP Experience will include a "no wait" in line Trunk or Treat Street experience for your immediate family and $20 in carnival tickets. Another three lucky winners will receive a $20 gift certificate to be used towards classes offered at the Recreation Annex through 2015 (some limitations apply). Winners will be contacted on Monday, Oct. 19 and recognized through Facebook, Twitter, and stage announcements. Earn a raffle ticket for every one pound bag of unopened, individually wrapped candy donated.
