Parks & Open Space
Desert Mountain Park - Located on the southeast corner of Hawes and Ocotillo roads, this award-winning park offers sports fields, playgrounds, basketball courts, picnic ramadas and more.
Facility Rentals - The Town offers a variety of indoor and outdoor facilities to host your next birthday party, business meeting, company picnic, wedding reception or special event.
Founders' Park - Located at 22407 S. Ellsworth Road, in the heart of Town Center, this park offers sports fields, a lighted skate park, basketball courts, playground and picnic ramadas.
Horseshoe Park Community Arena- For use by the general public, this park is located at 20464 E. Riggs Road and is open between 7 a.m. and 10 p.m. seven days a week.
Horseshoe Park & Equestrian Centre - Offering events throughout the year, many of which are free for spectators, this event center is home to a number of prestigious equestrian organizations and offers a glimpse into the community's history and heritage.
Trails - Queen Creek’s interconnected network of parks, trails and, open spaces provide safe and diverse activities to sustain its small town, equestrian agricultural character. The trails are centered on the natural beauty of the Queen Creek and Sonoqui washes along with interconnected neighborhood trails.
Spring Into QC - With live entertainment, bunny boot camps, color splash, a community yard sale and kids’ marketplace, and the always popular egg hunt, Spring Into QC is be fun for everyone!
Trunk or Treat - This Halloween-themed event provides a safe environment for families to enjoy an evening of trick-or-treating by going from car trunk to car trunk.
Other events - A number of community events are offered throughout the year at a variety of venues.
Recreation & Sports
Classes - The Recreation Services Division strives to provide you with the highest quality recreational activities by promoting social interactions through a variety of safe, fun and affordable special interest classes. With the variety of classes ranging from one-day workshops to monthly programs, there is something for everyone!
Senior Program - The Queen Creek Senior Program offers activities and leisure opportunities that enhance the quality of life for people 50 years of age and older.
Youth Sports - The Recreation Division and its partners offer a variety of youth sports leagues throughout the year including soccer, football, baseball and softball.
